"This spring we're introducing frames that give a transitional rendering of traditional silhouettes," said President Del Starnes. "What sets our furniture apart this market are the fresh color stories and the subtle embellishments that allow the consumer to create home furnishings that reflects their unique personality."

Market attendees will appreciate the new details of petite arms, unique pillow treatments and decorative nail patterns on moderately scaled upholstered pieces, especially sized for everyday living

With more than 30 years of experience in custom design and manufacturing, Taylor King sets a standard for excellence and innovative sophistication in the furniture industry.

Notable New Frames

Corbet Settee

Auxiliary seating is taken to a new level with the Corbet settee. The sculptural wing and plush seating make this settee an attractive, yet utilitarian object of decor. The settee is accentuated with a horizontal color banding that adds a subtle interest to the overall appearance. Playing off of the boucle and linen trend in fabric, the Corbet settee showcases the color trend of aquamarine with the Cassie- Aquamarine boucle and the Aegean blue trend with the Wrangler- Aegean linen. Suggested retail is $1,995.

Kilburn Lounge Chair

The sophisticated urbanite is evoked in the sleek styling of the Kilburn lounge chair. The slim sculptural arms enhance the silhouette. This lounge chair is moderate in scale, but isn't short on comfort. The fabric and leather combination of the exquisite Italian herringbone in the oatmeal coloration is further enhanced with the horizontal banding comprised of the modern distressed leather, Pompeii-Opalo. Suggested retail is $2,495.

Schulyer Sofa

Deco inspired elegance is showcased in the designer-oriented Schulyer Sofa. The sleek, linear tuxedo styling of this silhouette is instilled with comfort and is accentuated with the petite button detailing on the kidney pillows. The color trend of graphite is the catalyst for the menswear-inspired body fabric of Kemble-Graphite that is enhanced with the ascot-like geometric Fantasm-Midnight on the kidney pillows. Suggested retail is $2,795.

Banning Wing Chair

The Banning wing chair is an ode to the soft modern lifestyle. This sleek, architectural form gives a whole new meaning to the term "wing back" with its pencil thin arms and wings and is accentuated with the contrast center color banding. The fabrics are a play on men's suiting and add a subtle, but refined presence through the use of the Linoso-Graphite and Sanches- Raisin color banding. Suggested retail is $1,395.

Birsanti Sofa

Taylor King's Elegant Aspirations showcases the Birsanti, a sensuously curved sofa featuring a rolled back and beautifully carved detail. A rich layering of luscious textiles adds plush dimension. Suggested retail is $3495.

Kings Road Introduces New Styles

Taylor King's Kings Road line offers more color and value in its nine new frames this market. This refined and versatile collection offers the sleek lines and high fashion feel of Taylor King at a moderate price point. This market Kings Road will introduce an expansive selection of affordable leathers that compliment the many fabric choices of the Kings Road collection.

Beekman Sofa

The Beekman sofa is one of many new clean and sophisticated transitional styles being introduced by Taylor King this market. This sofa features tall shelter arms and box border arm bolsters. The crisp lines of the frame are accented by the contrasting gimp band with 1/2" pewter nails. The trend of graphic prints continues with the Pagoda-Slate. The color red is making its presence known in the market place with the Kemble- Poppy Red basket weave plain body cloth. Suggested retail is $1,995.

Sumptuous Leathers and Fresh Fabrics

Taylor King will introduce 170 new fabrics and 28 new leathers this market, the largest leather launch for the company to date.

Market goers will be treated to bold graphic patterns and designs that draw from elements of the French countryside while playing to the current script trend. The menswear theme continues this spring with new plaids, tartans, deep navys, reds and blacks adding a robust flare to frames. Shades of citron and an indigo-palette dominant in current fashion trends are also featured throughout the collection.

"Along with all of these great pops of color, we will also see a lot of homespun fabrics, such as a combination of silk and velvet appliques on linens," said Creative Director Regenia Payne. "At Taylor King we give great attention to craftsmanship and design and strive to lead the industry in terms of innovation."

Simplistic Grace

Drawing inspiration from the hottest color trends of the fashion world, this featured selection from the Taylor King showroom includes graphite colorations highlighted with citron. The impressionistic jacquard print and slate blue crocodile novelty leather add bold, graphic elements to the mix.

Vintage Re-Defined

Timeless French Laundry design redefined with a modern twist, these fabrics convey the crisp and casual elegance of the French countryside. This collection pairs contemporary geometric stripes and patterns with classic natural textures and an updated jacquard.

Understated New Classicism

Pairing striking citron and pomegranate tones with updated takes on traditional patterns, this collection emanates the feel of an upscale cottage. With a bold mix of organic and rich textures, the fabrics of the Understated New Classicism collection are easy on the eyes and interesting to the touch.

Urban Nuances

Drawing inspiration from the eclectic styles of the city, the fabrics of Urban Nuances present a warm take on the urban setting. This collection matches graffiti's freeform style with the buttoned-up elegance of menswear prints and classic geometric shapes.
